This is only a notice topic about the two Bionicpup releases that are going to be the official Puppy Linux version 8, in the Puppy Linux series.

This has to be done so Distrowatch will post the new official Puppy release.
They just post it as Puppy Linux and want it to follow a series number progression.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

This type of detail should be added to the first post of this thread to aid people in knowing there is a difference. At present even members of long standing have been totally thrown by this thread.
