Hi , peebee . Thank you for your continous work for puppy users :!: I took the last LxPupSc and switched to kernel 5.0.4 . I had to add some firmware for my wireless hardware (Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 9560, REV=0x318) and now everything works on my nuc . I need the kernel headers to compile so...

Gobbi, you have to point to vmlinuz itself, not just to its location. @proebler , I'm sorry , I did not express correctly the idea . Actually I point to the vmlinuz file from the mounted ISO file from the /tmp directory . I always did so in the past few years , not to burn optical discs as I did be...

mpv player vs VLC experience
This month I bought a 10" netbook an Asus 1025C .It has an Atom N2800 CPU which is 64bit capable and a poor GMA 3650 graphic solution . I was not happy when I found that Asus had put a BIOS limiting to 32bit this little one . The AtomicPup-XIX works like a charm on it . I also tried UpupBB , Xe...

Back in the Fatdog64-710 days I was using Xfce on one of my ISO files . Due to many dependencies it did not pass well onto Fatdog64-721 . It is fancy but a bit slower than Openbox + Lxqt Panel . The only thing I do miss it's the network monitor from the Xfce panel , because it could show network spe...

I found in the kernels/710/ directory from the repository the kernel-modules.sfs-4.14.12 , vmlinuz-4.14.12 and microcode-update-20180111.cpio , which I presume could be used to update the kernel . I know what to do with the first two , but I don't know how to implement microcode-update-20180111.cpio...
