Hi Argolance,

My language skills are poor so I am not sure if you were asking us, or telling us, about KeyNote.

KeyNote 1.6.5 works superbly using Wine, in case that was your question. Later versions may also work well, but I have not tried any of them.

You may have to update riched20.dll and riched30.dll to get the search facility to work properly and the highlighter to work at all.

It even has French brackets, but I don't know what it may not have to fit your needs.

I anticipate our friend, Béèm, will help if any translations are necessary.

My regards

Thank you a lot, Sir Jasper 8)

What do you exactly mean? Update(?) wineconfig\libs\DLL replacement especially for KeyNote or copy/replace existing files in the Windows system32 directory?

Best regards!

Hello,

Code: Select all

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\WineBrowser]
"Mailers"="/usr/bin/seamonkey_wrapper"
Créer le fichier 'seamonkey_wrapper' (avec NicoEdit ou Geany):

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh

seamonkey -compose $@
wine:cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\mailto:xxx@free.fr"
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\www.xxx.com"
:wink:

Cordialement.

Jasper

Hi Argolance,

I have just read your PM and reply as follows:

If KeyNote cannot use its highlight feature as in the picture below

Image

then later versions of riched20.dll and riched30.dll will need to be downloaded and installed as replacements in the appropriate .wine sub-directory which is likely to be system32.

I also added riched20(native) and riched32(native) to the Libraries section of my Wine Configuration file. I am not sure it that was necessary, but it may have been advisable.

I am currently using Wine 1.2 and I had to update the dlls. However, when the highlighter works the search function and every other feature should work as expected.

My regards

I forget where I downloaded the later dlls from, but hopefully google will oblige.
