ПУСK is Russian. It means "Start" or "Launch".

It may just be a desktop link to a folder containing app ".desktop" items.

Thanks man, your puppy looks nice and neat . Yes I have found it and it works nicely. I guess I can link each icon to external linke. for that I would only use the distant link, is that right ?

I want also to ask you how to add the extra taskbar ( it looks like docker).

thanks

Extra TASK BAR

#5 Post by pp4mnklinux »

Hi, memo:

This extra task bar comes with my FbBox configuration.

To use this you must download FbBox and install it, but you can have it if u are using JVW, you must download a pet called CAIRODOCK and you have got the bar and other options to increase your computer screeen.

I hope it helps you (if u download FbBox, you can find a program at menu, desktop, CALLED "wm swicher/cambiar entre gestor de ventanas" and you can change between jwm and fbbox or other.

... Related to the links, you must start appstarter, go to the bottom right button CHANGE STARTERS and write what u want.

As an example.... my first ROWS ARE...

#########

@ memo/jafadmin:-

I've been doing stuff like that for years.

I developed the trick during my XP years. I only had a relatively small monitor in those days, and it was a way of getting more launchers on the screen with low screen "real estate". Apps were grouped together into categories, and each 'main' launcher would open a folder window with a number of additional 'launchers' inside.

I've never yet found a way to only display icons within a ROX-Filer window, however, without them having a 'name' of some sort.....

Mike.
