If its good enough for Scooby Doo......

This reminded me of my friend feeding snausages to his ex-wife's side of the family after they regularly raided and emptied his refridgerator on unannounced visits.
She realised what he did but had to wait until they left - after all the "appetizers" had been eaten.

I think that's a Scooby a look-alike on the snausages

Hey, I lived on those things in college

They work to get my dogs to do things!

Should work on children

It is still food, you can eat, if you want to!!

Kind of makes you wonder, about a parent looking for children snack foods, in the dog food section, of the store :?: :!:
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

Well, at least, it looks more nutritive than those trash snacks...

Read the list of ingredients. If it's not a bunch of lies, then the snack food meant for kids is almost certainly much worse for them than dry dog food.

The store made the mistake. They put them next to the chips (it says in the article)

Ever wonder who does the taste test, for these dog snacks, when they produce a new one?

It is not dogs

Think about it. A dog will eat his or hers own poop

Not a very good taste tester.

Think about it. A dog will eat his or hers own poop Rolling Eyes
There is an instinctive reason for that - well two actually.
One is to (attempt to) remove the evidence that it was there so it cannot be tracked by predators.
The second is that food is scarce in its natural environment and a single pass through its digestive system will not remove all the nutrients.

Not a good taste tester for military food either.
A dog will not eat a US Military MRE.
Dog says poop tastes better than MRE :!:

I agree about some MRE's
However, there are some very good ones!

I like beef stew the best!!

The noodle ones are not that good, but if it is all you have to eat, you will eat it!!

The only meatlike substance I ever offered to my dogs that they wouldn't eat was boiled shrimp left over from our shop Christmas party. So MREs must be truly awful if dogs won't eat them. I was going to try one once until I saw the amount of salt it contained.

In my experience, dogs won't eat their own poop. Puppies and very young dogs will sometimes eat another dog's poop. And every dog will eat cat poop and human poop.
