Booted first time, but not to desktop - got a glowing screen so hit Ctrl+Alt+Backspace.
Ran xorgwizard, selected Intel driver and let Xorg pick resolution.
Got to desktop after reboot.
Sound working.
Internet connection working (Wifi via SNS).
Using a local copy of Palemoon to send this post.
No wallpaper on first boot - got "Error loading backdrop image:" message.
Generally seems ok so far.

Actually build of a Test and Always jumped mouse at Wacom.
Frugal install to Asus A53U (HTPC Laptop)
Specs:
APU: AMD E350
RAM: 6144MB DDR3 1333MHz (Used with KMS: ~96MB)
Display: LG M2252D [ALSA: Fine, after a reconfigured to KMS]
SSD: GoodRAM CX100
Run up at a Desktop: Fine, but Probably at "VESA only" [but OOTB for GUI-step|I was added "ati_drv.so" for mistake anyway...] - HDMI doesn't works? Switched to KMS for savefile anyway - After switching and selecting IEC958: Fine.
Result: Faster than Stock in "Turn On/Off" (Now can be feel about a fast-sides')
But otherwise if "666philb"'s does has problem with "Always-jumping mouse" at Wacom then in My build does has problem with "Always-jumping mouse" - Doesn't be helped, but can be improved for more Support anyway' [if you/they have a resolve go ahead to "Bug Detects" from Frist post anyway.]

GRUB2 at ISO with efi-i386 doesn't pass to boot with UEFI.
When I tried even move from /grub.cfg to /boot/grub/grub.cfg (64bit only or i386-pc?)
Doesn't pass at "grub-mkrescue -o grub.iso [placeatISO-folder] -d /usr/lib/grub/i386-efi" (So yet can be compiled at ISO without problem anyway but Problem it's doesn't detect from My HTPC Laptop...)
When how are be about a pass ISO compile it's a:
1. efivar and efibootmgr
2. GRUB2 binary' (can be pass: x86_64-efi,i386-pc [Looked from Super GRUB2]|can't be pass at BIOS config: i386-efi)
3. libburn4,libjte1,libisofs6,libisoburn1,xorriso,mtools for grub-mkrescue pass'
Attention: That's is not isolinux from Grub 0.96 (BIOS only),because I try to compile at Grub 2.02~beta2 for True UEFI Support.
When maybe that's rEFInd will be better support anyway' (but I can't compile at build anyway because I can't finded at "./configure" or "make"'s text's source anyway... {http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 550#930550}

Puppy Tahr Lite 6.1.1 [UEFI]
Now are be bulit-in with GRUB UEFI Binary at both with a .efi from Woof-CE and a both of x86_64-efi. (No more Legacy GRUB,if be want at Legacy go away of "grub" [v0.97|but can be use at My .pet anyway] or "grub-pae" [v2.02|via grub-pc] in a Woof-CE script)
Now except at a Updates with GRUB that's doesn't forgetted at more Modulate and more lightweight' [When more modulate isn't a worst puppy - against: it's will be increase at speed anyway']
Addition advantage it's a zipped version are be less than 150MB.

I understand very little of what you have said.
Booted OK from ext2 drive (hd1,2). Oh, I realize now that the existing grub4dos was active.
What will happen when I reboot?

Re: Puppy Tahr Lite 6.1.1 [UEFI]
Maybe if you have a previous session of Grub4DOS (as a Frugal): Nothing,as a OOTB - migrate and let's work'. (But I will be looking that's a GRUB2 will be install on HDD at i386-pc [Not tested, but I am sure that's will be works.] - when in a UEFI without /boot will be combination how will be works.]sheldonisaac wrote:Thank you.Illutorium wrote:Now are be bulit-in with GRUB UEFI Binary at both with a .efi from Woof-CE and a both of x86_64-efi. When I tried:
"grub-install /dev/sda -d /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi": Cannot send at EFI directory.
"grub-install /dev/sda -d /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi": "grub-install: error: /boot/efi doesn't look like an EFI partition." (in a "Arch Linux wiki" will be read that's doesn't be depend at Create Addition partition')
Doesn't be effect'

Updated in 28/12/2016
So finally I will be updated with a 5MB less'
When if Dillo will be shown at Uncertificted then Don't be worry anyway' [Works even at without library']
But "Dirty Cow" aren't be (maybe) fix because it's so much complicated for me'
Now it's a static UEFI GRUB [.efi] instead' (That's is one reason.)
