Hi all - a friend of mine has an ancient Macintosh desktop computer. So old that it's a PowerPC CPU, not an Intel chip. Mac support for such antique gear is not so good...
I'd like to try some version of Linux on her computer. Ideally, one like Puppy, that will boot from CD for easy testing.
Some Googling got me to: http://mac.linux.be/content/apple-powerpc-wiki
That site lists many distros that will run on Mac - but not Puppy Linux..
Has anyone here tried such a combo? Results? Comments? Advice? Thanks!
