Puppy Linux does not detect the memory card slot or the ethernet or the wifi please help me get these set up. I am not a beginner with puppy linux but the beginners category seems to fit my problem more than the other ones.

i am using lucid puppy linux 5.2.8 because i want the ubuntu support.

Older Puppies have older kernels which means less support for newer hardware. Try Precise.

I wonder if he tried using a 3 year old version of Ubuntu it would work?
Sure seemed to be clear to me. He needed the newer version of Puppy that can use Ubuntu program packages.
Precise Puppy 5.7.1
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

I got all the hardware talking to this version of puppy
with lots of other stuff running.

PS I blew the MS -V8 off the h/d with all now puppies!
See my other posting for a screenshot of what the desktop
