Hi there. Today I noticed that on the desktop the icon of console changed into a default icon instead of terminal one. I clicked on console and I got the following error /etc/profile.d/jre.csh syntax error: unexpected end of file.
I don't know if the problem is java but days ago I updated java version with a pet file I found in the forum.
I attached a snapshot of my problem, I hope you can help me.

Hello _MegadetH_
I had a similar error message after installing qt4,
the only difference (IIRC) was that it was complaining about /etc/profile.d/qt4.csh
So i simply deleted that file, and the error message went away.
Therefore, my suggestion is to delete the file: /etc/profile.d/jre.csh
or if you think that is rather reckless, just move it to another location temporarily.
That way if something doesn't work properly (regarding java),
you can just put the file back where it was.

As you suggested me, I just moved jre.csh to another folder and terminal works without error.
