Warning! Some older versions of LibreOffice do not seem to work with Java 7. If you need any of the Java-dependent functions of an older LibreOffice release, you may want to use Java 6. (Writer, Calc and Impress usually don't need Java, but Base and Math may.)
If you are running LibreOffice 3.5.x, though, Java 7 shouldn't be a problem.
Check the next post for even more mirrors, courtesy of green_dome. Thanks!
NOTE FOR SEAMONKEY 1-SERIES: The Java browser plugin I've linked to doesn't work with the older Seamonkey 1-series. To get Java working in those browsers, please follow the steps below:
- Remove the symlink "/usr/mozilla/plugins/libnpjp2.so"
- Link "/usr/java/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so" into "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/" (in the ROX Filer, drag and drop and select the "link (relative)" option)
- Enable Java from the Seamonky menu (Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced)
