Subject description: sfs4 modules

Java Runtime Environment, for any Puppy using SFS4. (43x and newer should be alright.)

Packages (7u25, for i586 and amd64, and 6u45 for i586) can be downloaded from my site.

Warning! Some older versions of LibreOffice do not seem to work with Java 7. If you need any of the Java-dependent functions of an older LibreOffice release, you may want to use Java 6. (Writer, Calc and Impress usually don't need Java, but Base and Math may.)
If you are running LibreOffice 3.5.x, though, Java 7 shouldn't be a problem.

Check the next post for even more mirrors, courtesy of green_dome. Thanks!

NOTE FOR SEAMONKEY 1-SERIES: The Java browser plugin I've linked to doesn't work with the older Seamonkey 1-series. To get Java working in those browsers, please follow the steps below:
  1. Remove the symlink "/usr/mozilla/plugins/libnpjp2.so"
  2. Link "/usr/java/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so" into "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/" (in the ROX Filer, drag and drop and select the "link (relative)" option)
  3. Enable Java from the Seamonky menu (Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced)

@TTW: I haven't tried out Saluki yet. Maybe I can worm it into my weekend. I'll let you know how that goes if I can (hopefully) get around to it.
