the libre office pet packages were made with the Asterisk!'s sfs to pet utility converting the sfs packages made by 01micko's get libreoffice utility.

if you're without menu entries after installation, use the appropriate .desktop pet from http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 04#1034304:

and another .desktops pet for those with sfs issues (which is a post a page back:http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 02#1017902)[...]Puppus Dogfellow wrote:[...]from desktop files and icons for sfs installation issuesPuppus Dogfellow wrote:libre6.1.desktops.pet
pet overwrites icons and desktop files from the sfs with sets copied from my 6.1 pet install. adding the icons was probably unnecessary, but this should fix any sfs installation's .desktop and menu entry problems.
(pet shouldn't be necessary and the redundant icon install will do no harm, but if the LO 6.1 sfs doesn't launch for you, try this)

here's the 6.2 version:
libre6.2.desktops.pet
to reuse icons you may have dragged to choice positions on your desktop, right click the icon, select edit, and change the 6.1 to 6.2. (i find this easier than deleting the old and dragging in the new).
fwiw, there's now a "tabbed" interface choice available, but it seems it's just a new way to group menu items--there's apparently still no browser-like tab function (which i find a bit disappointing).
anyway, enjoy.
the desktop files as a separate pet (sorry for any inconvenience/this is the first time i've needed it for my own installation):

as 666philb points out in http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=115354, libre's no longer making 32 bit packages.
come back soon and update your thread, vic!

for more, here's the libreoffice subfolder in the word processing and related section of my repo (it gets updated before the thread does and mirrors vicmz's language packs for the earlier versions).
