@BarryK I sadly agree that pyro has reached it's limits without a major rebuild and time, however it's at a good place to stop. I've been trolling through the kernel 5.4 problem reports and changelogs trying to find something related to my problem and have got up to 5.4.10 (the latest) which has onl...

Re: USB 3.0 Stick
It's a new USB 3.0 stick out of a blister package with a very strange fat32 starting sector. Haven't copied anything to it yet only looked into it with gparted. What are your thoughts about it? Is it an attempt to kill 'Linux on USB'? I've seen it before with efi formatted drives (reserves director...

Downloading pyro 1.3 and it's devx now, looking forward to testing sunday when I have my troublesome ssd laptop back, alex is coming across w...

There was a post requesting that SFSget be able to run offline. That was @ras : http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=1041095#1041095 Done, plus a bridge between EasyContainers and SFSget: https://bkhome.org/news/201912/sfsget-now-has-offline-mode.html And maybe since your playing with EasyC...

@prell I know i'm coming into this late, but as there's a number of Chromebook Acer R11 CB3's out there, which do you have please? The numbers after the CB3-xxx-Cxx should tell me it's hardware and firmware configuration, thanks. The Part number would help too (something like NX.G4XEK.001). Also is ...

Re: gksu
Oh, I thought you were just putting a basic 1.2.10 out so we could test it to see if the updated kernel fixed the usb/ssd problem. They are up to 5.4.5 already with the kernel, the .4 to .5 is basically comms related fixes, but .3 to .4 were generally important so if your delaying, a further kernel...

This may be of interest https://itsfoss.com/gksu-replacement-ubuntu/ and of course the homepage is https://www.nongnu.org/gksu/ which explains a lot. Thanks for the links. I see gksu is gone from Debian Buster also. Yeah, and everywhere, although the older package sources are avaiable still if you ...

Can I take it the pyro files 1.2.10 are coming somewhere soon. Yes, I was hoping to release 1.3 and 2.2 before Christmas. With the 5.4.3 kernel. Note, I just did a post to blog about the 5.4.3 kernel. Oh, I thought you were just putting a basic 1.2.10 out so we could test it to see if the updated k...
