Thanks Barry... The 3.00retro worked. It allows me to click in windows to choose the video using xvesa. I guess the new kernal may have something to do with it.

Anyone got any ideas... 2.16 worked with it fine... but 2.17 does not work at all... It gets as far as the Xorg/Xvesa choice but no mouse. I believe it does not even see the drive... I copied the VHD from 2.16 to a different folder trying to get it to do an update,,,thinking it may get the mouse/vid...

To give you an idea... with 2.16 and MS Virtual PC2007 a few seconds after the puppy serial detect goes to number 3. I will let me click and make active the window. This does not happen in 2.17. In fact with 2.17 it counts up to 4 .Hope this helps.
