number77, Oh boy. My 413 time is very far behind me and I didn't realize it didn't have the 3fs option then. Now I know a 2fs can be transformed to a 3fs with tune2fs and the -J option. But I don't know if 413 will recognize and load a 3fs. If you want to try, start with pfix=ram and backup the 2fs ...

rox-filer headers
rox-filer headers
I don't know from when one can move around headers in a rox-filer window.
Very nice. Is this an Exprimo exclusive?
But a re-positioning of the headers don't stick on a next instance.
I didn't see a way in the options to make such a change permanent.
Is this possible?

You have to study each panel in a procedure and read all that is mentioned. The create save file gives you a choice to create a 2fs save file or a 3fs file. There is comment on the selection. Best choice is to create a 3fs file. Restart the PC and boot from our puppy with pfix=ram. After the first s...

My first encounter with guy dog is 5.0.1 Installed using my usual FRUGAL Lin'N'Win method. It's running. But configuring isn't really user-friendly. Iguleder made reference to the tnt2 rc file and I changed f.e. autohide to 1. Ok the tray is hidden, but how to get it back? Touching the screen edge i...

I remember when I joined the forum, quite some time ago now, there was mention of poor man's install. I didn't feel this as negative. Just another term I had to learn. Bit by bit FRUGAL came in the picture and poor man's faded out. English not being my mother language, I don't associate FRUGAL with ...

FRUGAL and FULL install are so well known in the forum here that it would be unwise and give confusion to change this.
Also FRUGAL is a legitimate term in linux, see here

@Béèm: PSUBDIR is a Puppy parameter not Grub4Dos. My directories are only one level deep. I will try it in a minute (with Grub4Dos) when I've got 5.3 to try. Unfortunately I have to work with Windows so reboots only take place in slack periods and at home. Yes you're right, but I never use it. But ...
