Re: Steam package
I have Steam running just fine on FatDog64 6.0.1. I am wondering how much demand there is for a package. Let me know if you want one and which puppy version you are using. Fatdog 6.2 has been released and it's great. I wonder if you can build a package for it. Thanks Sorry about taking so long to r...

To elaborate on my mouse issues, which for some reason have now transferred to 6.0.1. I am unsure if this is even related to fatdog anymore. Anyway, when the OS boots my mouse and keyboard lights go off. It seems to connect faster now though, in about 10 seconds on 6.0.1. I can't move my mouse or us...

I have a couple of comments. First of all, as of 6.0.0, I believe, the initrd has contained the base and mosule sfs files. This makes the initrd file huge. I have a 10MB boot partition and I have to edit the initrd, move the files, and modify the init script with every release. This is very tedious....

When trying to play some games the mouse will get stuck. With the debug options enabled I get
Can you compile this in on a future version?
EDIT: I am compiling wine myself again. Thanks for keeping this up to date for so long.
Code: Select all
trace:cursor:X11DRV_XInput2_Init X Input 2 support not compiled in.

Hi green_dome, i am just wondering ... as the wine pets are compiled with xorg_xorg_full_dri-7.3.pet among others, are the wine pets (or sfs) compatible with Xorg version higher than 1.7.3 ? (Here using exprimo with xorg 1.7.7 with wine-1.1.12 ...such an old version because the sfs size is only 14M...

Lucid Puppy 5.2.8.005 Direct Rendering
I am attempting to get xbmc working on Lucid Puppy 5.2.8.005. I am having problems with the Xorg High video drivers. It works perfectly when using my computer with Video Card 1. The other two computers, however, recommend the Xorg High driver and it does not enable direct rendering. I can use saluki...

I compiled it, for FatDog64, and it is only a backend library for predictive text. It does include some demo programs. You failed to mention what version you were looking for it on. If the answer is FatDog64, then follow the link in my signature. If not, then tell me what version and I'll get to it ...

This package allows the user to compile 32 bit applications on FatDog64. Compiled & tested on FatDog64 5.2.1 It should work on other FatDog64 versions. The following sfs files are needed for this package to work correctly. http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/fatdog/sfs/500/fd64-32b...

Then remind me NEVER to accept any data from you..... and that includes emails. That's your choice. I don't send things to people on Windows and even you admitted that virus writers haven't bothered with Linux. I personally don't think they will any time soon either. It's not worth the effort when ...

I think a better question would be why are you trying to install virus protection on Linux? No the question should be why are you trying to run Windows virus protection under Linux? Linux is just as susceptible to viri as Windows. The only difference is that there are so many different flavours of ...
