I think I got the old file. I can only use my keyboard if my caps lock is on with Clementine on. Thought it was a 5.2.5 problem until I determined that the issue started when Clementine was on.
If I download this one will it work again?

Disregard my post. It randomly started working. I have no idea why though? I have found that I'm unable to mount a 4.7gb DVD-R containing photos in Puppy 5.25 and 5.20. When the disc is inserted, the desktop drive icon is present and identified as 'sr0' but when I click on it cant mount it. The disc ...

Hi guys. I don't feel up to going through this many pages of stuff lol Am I the only one who has an issue typing on OpenBox unless my caps lock is on? I mean, I'm very likely to install Xfce on here assuming it will will work, but it's still a little unnerving. The sole reason I picked OpenBox as my...

Does it have Last.fm/Pandora support like Amarok?
Because if so, and it runs on the latest Puppy (I saw your screenshots), I am sold.

ETA - Never mind. I suppose it would help if I looked at the website lol.
Thank you for putting this into a .pet. :3

It really might just be easier for someone to try and make a new version of GNOME. lol
I'd love to run GNOME on a Puppy drive (Xfce is nice but I like GNOME), so if anyone's looking for beta testers just give me a wrong.

Al Jazeera English has been the best source for news for quite some time now, not just on this but as a whole. Qaddafi/Gaddafi/Kadhaffy/HOWEVER his last name is spelled (I have, no exaggeration, seen seven different spellings of his last name over the years and I have no clue which is the actual one...

In reference to Lobster's post... After running Puppy for something like two years now, I can say that it is a lot simpler than Ubuntu, and any other Linux distro I have run in my eight years of Linuxing. While installing Ubuntu to a thumb drive, or attempting to anyway, it completely messed up the ...

In this case, it sounds like a library file or a dependency has corrupted. Does Terminal not tell you what is missing/what the issue is other than a segfault?

Late response, my apologies, but thank you CatDude. Looking at the link on the Wiki (truth be told I had no clue this existed; I feel quite stupid), the Thinkpad I will be inheriting is not on there, but atleast knowing older Puppies works fine with eraserheads gives me hope. Thank you again! When I...

I hope this kind of post is permitted here? If not my apologies. My dad has a laptop that he says he will give me when it no longer can support Windows 2000 Pro, so I plan on putting Wary on it since it is for older systems. (It has a 800mhz processor and 512MB RAM that is dying). So I have a couple...

Frugal install of Lupu on a thumb drive with 2GB RAM is about 25sec. Same amount of time, give or take a few seconds, with my other drive that has KDE installed.

Please put pfix=nocopy in your boot command line parameter. I thought that we had concluded that "nocopy" was the default behaviour of all recent woof-built Puppies. Even so, I have noticed a bug that even when you tell it via Universal Installer that you don't want pfix=nocopy in the boo...

I run Windows XP on a Dell Optiplex GX520 with no issue, but the thing is offline so I never have to worry about viruses or spyware or any of that junk associated with Windows. If I want to go online, I use Linux. No exceptions.

It could've even been the fact I'm only running Puppy beta and not the actual thing.
Either way it works. I'm so ecstatic that I have my offline messaging again.

Mine does this as well. I never realised it before. Lucid 2.3.8 and Opera 11.
But I have to agree with the poster above me? Unless you are typing, why even be pressing the space in the first place? Nervous habit? (Understandable in that case, then.)
