Alright. This has been my project for tonight. With my upgrade to Precise Puppy (which was originally solely so I could have a somewhat new version of Skype  ), I found I was unable to run Xfce. Half of my programs were missing when I ran it. Openbox doesn't blink tray icons, and JWM is ugly. ...

I may find myself switching back to that before long because I just spent all kinds of time installing Qt/Dbus and I get a GLIBC error. I'm just gonna miss having everything all in one.

I was using a Skype 4.0 .pet and began experiencing issues with it crashing upon bootup. I don't know what was causing it, although a downgrade to an old Skype 2.1 beta .pet works (I'm running the same version of LuPu you are). Sadly the most recent version seems to be this ? As the most recent Skyp...

I found a .pet of the p54usb driver. Theoretically could I just install it? try this manual method: converting .pet package with pet2tgz in lucid, run this in alphaos tar xvf pet-name.tar.gz -C / but with this method, you cant do uninstall the pet. I hope this helps. Uninstalling isn't a big matter...

Hi, I absolutely LOVE this Pup. I've been looking for something like this for quite some time...however, it refuses to recognize my wireless card (p54usb) that Puppy has recognized for quite some time. Are there any extra packages I've missed with wireless drivers? DM wireless drivers package in al...

Hello again CatDude. Remember me? I forgot this topic until I was browsing the forums and saw someone found it. I am right now, although on Windows, running a Puppy LiveCD with 5.2.5., JWM and a tad bit of fat (aMSN and Skype). It completely revived this thing (although it is slow as mud, it works)....

Hello hypersonic. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to give you a couple tips to save you space. I don't use Chrome/Chromium strictly based on the principle that anything you upload on it is Google's property. I'm curious to run it in Terminal and see what happens though.
I don't suppose running Opera is much better though, right? lol I remember forever ago it was in the nonfree repos on Ubuntu.

K3B is my favourite Linux burning utility. It was the first I used when I was growing up on Linux. :3

Where is the post with your .iso for LegacyOS 2 (or a direct link for it?) I tried to search for it a few pages back and nothing. Either that or I am completely missing something.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I cannot figure out how to change the button for JWM? lol I know how for Xfce, I know how for OpenBox and have even created a .zip file of coloured menu buttons for it; but JWM stumps me. ._.

Also yes, GTK runs the window decorations on JWM. :)
