I tried many times to post to this forum using the latest Puppy Linux and SeaMonkey, but I can't. It keeps timing out after I click on Submit or Preview. I had to post this using a different computer. Does anyone know what is wrong?

xv is the mode that uses hardware-accelleration from your graficscard. x11 is a slow fallback mode. Thanks for the info. I was getting a little confused, so instead I just today did a complete re-install of Puppy 1.0.9CE from scratch. I tried to play wmv files, they still didn't work. Then I installed the xine_extra_codecs-1 PupGet package. And now it works just fine!
