hard drive not showing up from my new Cd rom.

I got a new to me Sony CD-RW Power-Burn that has a memory stick slot for a memory card or something. I have a Frugal install on my Internal Hard drive. Of Puppy 4.3. It does work. Thanks alot. for some reason i had to open a terminal and do a
cd mnt/home
sh sleep.sh

then it works! before I tried the open terminal here with ROX and it didn't shutdown.

Im probably not using it right! I tried saving it as a .sh file. that shuts down as soon as i click it. And if i run it in a terminal it lets me pick the time option but doesn't shutdown.

It doesn't work. it shut down as soon as I clicked it. so half the battles won.

Think I could use Pschedule to run it at a certain time?

How to make Puppy shut the computer down at a set time?

I listen to music when I go to bed and I fall asleep to it. I don't want my computer to run all night. I want it to turn off in X hours. I want to make a script or something similar (a gui is not necessary) I'm guessing a .sh file? i also want to be able to tweak it for any time limit. just click it...
