when in X right after start, open a console, type "sync". Then exit X. Hit CTRL-ALT-Backspace. Then type "reboot". There were issues in the first 008 not exiting X properly, that was solved later. Or replace /usr/X11R7/bin/wmreboot with this one: #!/bin/sh #introduced v0.9.8 #cal...

The message tells you that partition sda1 is full, thus you can't expand your pup_save file (unless you first make the partition itself larger). But there is still plenty of room in your pup_save (1262 MB free out of a total of 1359 M). I wouldn't know why you can't open small pets, there must be s...

no, that was an answer to the rt73 wizard. I had not read your gaim-question, as you edited you earlier message. Gaim should be there. If it does not run, I cannot help, as I removed all Files from versions earlier than 008.2. In 008.3 it works. A workaround for you could be to install the new vers...

Should be okay. If I understand correctly (I'm no Muppy user myself; MU may confirm) msy_080.sfs corresponds to standard Puppy's pup_xxx.sfs while msy_save-Muppy008.2fs is your save file corresponding to standard Puppy's pup_save.2fs correct. I think there is an issue with /tmp You could exit X, th...
