X TAHR ON 64 BIT HP-PAVILION 8GB RAM , 700 GB HDD, WIN 8.1

X-TAHR WORKS PERFECTLY-ALL KINDS OF ACTION

ONLY AUDIO MIXER REMADE

IT CAN NOT "SEE" ALL 8 GB OF RAM BUT ONLY 1,2 GB

THANKS AGAIN.
CAN WE HAVE PAE VERSION?
Strange, Non-PAE should see at least 3GB of RAM. PAE version will come after the betas for V1.0.

I've uploaded a 1b3 ISO and 1b2 > 1b3 delta to the repo.

This will most likely be the last beta release, v1.0 will be mostly app updates.

Changes:
add categories to applications.menu
add Setup category to Control Panel
fixes to PPM and /etc/xdg/menus/hierarchy for Xfce menu
update PPM databases
update to firefox-38.2.1esr
update to retrovol-0.14.3-X
update to xfdesktop-4.12.3
update to yad-0.30.0
various small fixes

internal 30 gig toshiba ext3 drive is just storage for sd card install.
Install done with unetbootin (linux version)
Will install grub4dos later on to replace syslinux bootloader for more boot options.
Have not made a save yet.

Everything hardware wise is working fine from what I can tell so far.
Nice distro rg66. Thanks from the mexican border.

I can only see 3. 8227556 kB is the same as 8227MB. The /root properties is either disk space, savefile space or maybe tmpfs space if your in RAM.

Minor bug -- firewall applet is stubborn and will not be removed.

Right-click, "Quit&Remove Firewall Status" --> still there next boot.
Right-click, "Firewall On/Off/Remove" --> "Remove" button --> still there next boot.

:(

Ya, your right. I had a quick look at the source (if it's the right one) and it looks correct as far as I can tell. "Quit&Remove Firewall Status" should remove /root/.config/autostart/firewallstaterun.desktop.

Edit: Firewallstate is a mess, the binary doesn't remove the .desktop and re-starting it doesn't re-make the .desktop

I assume that manually removing the *.desktop, wherever it is (/usr/share/applications...?) is sufficient to make the tray icon go bye-bye...?

I'm in 3.1n right now so I can't doublecheck, but it should be in /root/.config/autostart and Control Panel>system>boot manager> manage startup applications renames it there and removes it on a restart for me.
