I sent you a PM with the download link.rg66 wrote: Could you upload the panel-plugins somewhere and I'll add them to the repo, also the gnome icons if possible?
Thanks
The developer of tahr has other kernels here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pu ... r/kernels/, just replace the zdrv and vmlinuz.configX wrote:I really like this! What's the best way to go about upgrading the kernel? I installed this on an Acer C720 chromebook but the touchpad doesn't work. Kernel 3.17 or higher adds support though so it would be nice to use that. The sound didn't work for me either, even after selecting the default card and messing with the mixer. Might be kernel related too?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestion mistfire. X-series has always used "Elementary" desktop icons and the full cheser pkg is just too big to include. I'll see if I can make a half decent cheser desktop icon pkg and post it.mistfire wrote:@rg66 I suggest that you use cheser as the default icon set for x-tahr and also for x-slacko

mistfire wrote:nice packaging @rg66 will it change the icons and file/folder icons in thunar by using this cheser package that you compiled?
Looks like the Xfce theme on the website is Faience. You can get it here: http://smokey01.com/rg66/X-common-packages/. XFaience is the blue version.mistfire wrote:The appearance is more attractive than the default hi-color @rg66, it's nice. Can you help to find the xfce 4.12 default interface theme as shown on their website? By the way does the hibernate works on X-tahr and X-slacko?
Code: Select all
# echo -n disk > /sys/power/state
bash: echo: write error: Function not implemented
There's lots of free storage out there. Dropbox, google drive (15GB), copy.com (I have 25GB there) etc.......starhawk wrote:rg66 -- I have made an alternate (modified) SFS for X-Tahr that includes the Caja file manager from MATE. At 254mb, it's a little big to upload to my usual filehost site (DataFileHost, max size 150mb)... but I'd love to share it.
Do you know of a place I could upload it?
