Subject description: new pupplet based on slacko

hello puppy users.

I present my new pupplet , "slackbox" based on slacko5.7.
this pupplet is a fork of puppylinux slacko5.7 and pretends to be friendly and clean.

The larger ISO puppybox-2.0_beta1.iso (167.4 MB) is in fact Precise 571 based.
slackbox_beta1.iso is the correct one. Don't be misled by the name - no openbox, only jwm.

There is a list of removed packages on the desktop - copied below:

There is some confusion in what this distro is bringing to the table. Can the author clarify?

Questions
  • What machines and RAM is this distro's "minimum recommendation"? (this infomation probably should accompany every PUP distro release in its opening post)
  • Is this Slackware based or Ubuntu based or ??? Packages from which will install when needed?
Thanks in advance

It would appear to use Slacko/Slackware packages.
