How to change the color of desktop icon legends?

#1 Post by Henry »

* This is a tool (which many desktops have), and this ability to invert the text color is very handy esthetically. Maybe I missed it ?

You may wonder why I'm.mentioning such details. Well, I have been using this Tahr (awful name) for several weeks, and very seriously.. This is a wonderful program and a great group effort, the best Puppy by far I've seen out of the dozens I've tested and used intensively and professionally over many years.. See http://www.henrystrobel.com/linux.htm. But did we really forget to test scanners :-)

Note to the moderators:
Sorry about the inconvenience. I really meant this to go along with my topic on scanners at the end of the Tahr Pup discussion tahrpup 6.0 & 6.0.2 CE. But, as I often do I hit the New Topic button instad of the Reply to button and ended up out here in space.

Hope you can straighten it out.

Thanks
Henry.

hi henry,

right click in an open window and then choose 'options' then in the 'pinboard' section you can set the 'foreground' colour (this is the colour of the text on the desktop)

Thanks. I'm happy to see all the possibilities, which I obtusely missed.

However, the order is:

1 Right click
2 Rox filer
3 Pinboard
4 Options
5 Pinboard

Not:

1 Right Click
2 Options
3 Pinboard
