How to include all changes in my remaster?

#1 Post by toomanyquestions »

I'm trying to remaster a puppy, and have only been partially successful. I wasn't able to retain any of the desktop (e.g. panel tweaks), wallpaper changes, etc. Do I have to include a .pupsave file in my remaster in order to include these elements (I didn't have a .pupsave file when I tried my remaster)?

include the contents of /root when remastering..it is supposed to give you that option.

You can also copy parts of /etc but that less necessary if all you want are program defaults and settings.

I think there was another long thread on this in the last few weeks as well, if you want to look for it.
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here
