I have searched google in vain for a .pet file for K3B. I have found an .sfs file, and some links that say they point to a .pet file, but all of those links seem broken.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

cheers, Paul

Is the SFS file working?

You can convert it to .pet and install.

I don't know if the .sfs file works as I am looking for a .pet to work with my full install. Unfortunately I don't know how to convert a .sfs to .pet.

Thanks for the reply.

cheers, Paul

Just create a directory, e.g. K3B-Install in /root or any ext partition.
Left-clicking the SFS should open up a window, presenting its content.
Make sure all hidden files are visible.
Just copy everything into the K3B-Install directory.

Typing in terminal: dir2pet will give instructions how to create a .pet file from directory K3B-Install.

Since you are using a full install make sure to know what you are doing - I'm not familiar with full installs or their capacity of uninstalling packages etc.pp.
