I am using this device driver (ath9k-htc) in lupu3hd (3-Headed Dog)
This is lupu based on linux kernel 2.6.37.6, to support somewhat newer hardware than does the lupu kernel (2.6.33.2)
I have not tried them all, but the Lucid Puppy V5.2.8.7 versions, that use newer kernels, should also work.
Lupusuper versions.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

I had it sometime back then tossed it. Not the route I wanted to go but, I recall this card having good capabilities and so will set up a save file for testing. Thanks for the reply BP.
Because the range on this thing wasn't good, I canned the project.
