fbpanel or lxpanel are started in a stanza in /root/,xinitrc, not sure about xfce4-panel. You could always just delete (or rename) /usr/bin/fbpanel, lxpanel, xfce4-panel.David Andrew wrote:Anyone know how to access pure Openbox mode under Puppy? As in, no desktop icons or panels?
How do you get openbox to use it? It doesn't show up in obconf.smokey01 wrote:...It's only the GTK theme but it works fine in OpenBox.
I particularly like the glossy sliders, check boxes and rounded corners.
Rounded corners, y'say...I imagine it might be possible, if you can define the corners as .png files and then define a transparent color...might also be possible by the artful use of compton or transset-df...

Ah, I see, it's a widget theme, like Stardust (which is the widget theme I use with the Gelb openbox theme). But I don't think openbox has the necessary code to apply a widget theme to its window boxes.smokey01 wrote:You're right, it doesn't show up in obconf but it does in GTK theme chooser.
Have a look at the package I uploaded and you will see the png files.
It might be possible to transplant-in the relevant code from, say, fluxbox, but I suspect that the surgery would not be trivial.
