Subject description: Installed pet version not checked before downloading wastes time & bandwidth

Hello
Isn't there a way for quickpet to check the version of an installed pet before attempting a download?

Only after Seamonkey was downloaded am I advised that the version downloaded is the same as that installed - it can't be installed twice is the error message. A waste of time; waste of bandwidth. And I can't prevent it because though I know the version installed, I know not what quickpet is offering.

Htop says tahrpup-6.0 although I did update to 6.0.1 via PPM/servicepack (PPM shows the pet as installed).
Seamonkey is 2.29.1

I posted a link to this topic in the Tahrpup bug topic.

The developer of Tahrpup will have to look at this and see what he may want to do.
