01micko - Concern

#1 Post by sszindian »

Time for concern- Slacko

01micko has not made a post to the forum since late Sept 2014. He also has not logged into the forum for months now (at least I didn't notice him on the registered users list and I'm in here every day.)

Does anyone know where he is? Or has something happened to him?

Not like him to just pack up and leave while he has a few Slacko projects in the making.

We miss you mic!!!

This should probably be in Off Topic. Flash, would you mind...? (TBH I do feel a little silly for asking that...)

I hope he comes back! I'd love to see PupPi work on my Pi, but without him around I'm not even going to try... it will end in tears if I do, trust me...

As far as I know Mick got his Diploma and is OK health-wise but he is feverishly looking for a job.
So, if you want to put the good word for a job in the southernmost Queensland coast of Australia, you could help

I was beginning to wonder too.

I think that I have his email address, but thought it might be too intrusive to send him an email.

Hope he gets a job, a good one!

Hi...

I wouldn't think so, just to see how he's doing. :)

Mick said he's all right, just that he's busy at the moment.

Stopped also feverishly twittering

#10 Post by nancy reagan »

So I am not the only one who wondered.

After rather feverishly twittering as well, he then SUDDENLY stopped.

Do not know whether he has a linkedin account, those who do have one, probably could link him, just to promote him ?

Maybe he just called it quits, saying "why did I waste so much of my time?"

He did a lot of good work for everybody here in his capacity as a Linux volunteer. Can't hold it against him if he decided to walk.

Maybe it is just that, maybe it is just something sad that made him break.

Ah, it's time to be busy here, too, trying new pups: fatdog64-700 and tahrpup 6.02 and April64.

Hi, people.

Whatever it is that ails 01micko, since he seems to remain "incommunicado",
we Puppyists here certainly miss his excellent craftmanship and his tenacity
at getting results.

I personnally wish him a prompt recovery of any ailment, physical or other,
if that applies, and/or offer him my best wishes in his new enterprise(s) if
that is his choice. (Our great loss, though, in the latter case...)

BFN.
