Hope it is useful and clear to those who want to see it first before actually plunging in. _________________ Get ACTIVE Create Circles; Do those good things which benefit people's needs!

Installing PLOP (rather than using a CD) is also quite simple.
The instructions are at the PLOP site
The instructions are different depending on whether you have a Linux or Windows
computer, which can be confusing.

When using the install script '4install-quirky-to-drive' when there is not
enough space to decompress ---> There is a warning message in the terminal
Code:
Uncompressing april-6.89.usfs.xz to april-6.89.usfs...
xz: (stdout): Write error: No space left on device
Final sanity check: 'sdc' is correct? (ENTER if OK, CTRL-C abort):
Don't be confused by this message.
It just means that you don't have enough space. Just start again.
The script and april-6.89.usfs.xz must be on a disk
that has more space available.
