good day der Puppy experts hello to all linux-experts here,

to begin with the beginning; i am a big big big Puppy-fan. I love it.

Some days ago i created a Desaster-Recovery-System with linux. And i am pretty sure that Puppy does a pretty well job in this area.

today i have another problem: the notebook lenovo g 780 runs windows 8 and is not very stable.the WLAN connecgtion is not very stable _ despite the fact that it is very very close to the router .

btw: several linux-notebooks (opensuse) which are running under the same condition do not have any problem

want to load a new driver - but which one is corrcet?

to sume up: lenovo g 780 WLAN connecgtion in-stable: which driver is needed?

how to find out which driver is needed?

Hi....

Please open a terminal and post the output (for network and ethernet) of this command...

Code:
lspci -nnk | grep -i net -A2

This should tell us what chipset your adapter is using. Wink

Regards...

... also it's REALLY REALLY helpful to tell us the Puppy version you're running.

I'm betting it will be the age-old problem of Puppy failing to add firmware for new drivers.
