My scanner is not working.

Canon MG 2220.

It has the proper pets installed. Printer does work.

Hi...

Did the .pets you installed contain the scanner driver? If not, try installing this one. :)

Hi...

Normally, yes. Just click on the ones for your architecture, either the two that are for i386 (32 bit) or the two that are for 64 bit systems. Puppy should be able to deal with the .debs directly. At least Precise did. :?:

Relax and be patient,

Only Linux forums ask that solved questions be edited.

Maybe someone could add button that would add solved when clicked.

This was a completely uninformative bit of problem solving.

Since 2009, there has been an entire Forum section devoted to Canon scanners. That would be a more sensible place to deal with this situation.

Hi...

It wasn't my intention to sound rude, my apologies. I was just curious if you were able to solve the problem and if so, what did you do to make it work. I see that you did solve it, so mission accomplished anyway.
