Older versions were already of good quality. But with the 1.7 and its new features, it's even better than before.trio wrote:v1.7

When restoring a backup, he gets the message "You don have drive icons to show." Together, device icons are not displayed (because the "pup_event_frontend_d" script does not seem to be activate).
I have the same problem on my computer (precise 5.7.1).
I started to look at, but I do not understand where the error is.
Code: Select all
cat /etc/eventmanager | grep 'ICONDESK' | grep -v '#' | cut -d '=' -f 2

see main post.
Note: better if you re-save your existing arrangements

Hello trio, trio wrote:Hehehe this time I don't agree with you, for these reasons:
1. This spp supposed to manage how the icons are placed, not more. If added a function for wallpaper, next thing you know, it will become Desktop Global Theme Profille Manager (I did that already)
2. I exclude wallpaper when saving intentionally. Because it is kinda strange, when the icons changed and the wallpaper too
3. And I was thinking that if a saved wallpaper is already deleted, when set, rox will give error message
