Thanks so much for Tahr, it's excellent!

I guess this isn't specific to Tahr but what would happen if I loaded more than 6 SFS files? Is that just a suggestion or will I bork my install and have to start over again?

Thanks again!

aufs can handle up to 252 sfs..... puppy on the other hand usually does not have more than a few folders for such use and also the kernels are often configured with only up to 10 loop devices even if you dynamically create folders though a boot config can overcome that.

I believe sfs on the fly will allow more but the standard initrd will not.

There are forks of puppy that do take advantage of the potential large number of sfs..I do it myself and it works just fine with 20, 30 40 sfs loaded.... but we are talking 2006 technology here so takes a while to catch up sometimes and the low number was basically a unionfs limitation. Very Happy
