latest xorg server update (fatdog64 beta 1)

hi,
most recent xorg update causes failure to ever get to a desktop (connection refused by the xorg server only solution (available to me, that is) is to delete the savefile and start over, and avoid updating to most recent xorg server. asus laptop, K53, intel i7
perfectly reproducible - done it many times ...
