PIPO P1 - 4 windows open simultaneous

PIPO has a new Android model (PIPO pad P1 )that allows 4 windows to be open
simultaneously. $254 US

That's pretty cool.

It reminds me to a device that hasn't been a pad/tablet, but in the 1980's already had allowed to open 7 windows simultaneously: Atari ST! :lol:

They will all return back to some of the standards of the desktop PC - or they will begone. What a waste of development effort! :lol: :roll:

Yes, machines like the Atari ST were incredibly futuristic yet unbloated. I think tablet introduction was as much to do with creating a new market (netbooks were becomin too cheap and threatening the market money making ability). Machines without keyboards/pointing-device are crippled in funtionality, touch screen or not.

BBC computers were pretty neat too, particularly with their simple to program and use input/output ports facilities - all that side of things has become much trickier or requires other machines (I don't know if Raspberry Pi has simple on/off controllable i/o ports for controlling external devices or not?)
