Subject description: For importing .pst mail files to mbox format

I'm running Lucid 5.25 here. I have a large .pst file that I need to convert to mbox format. It looks like readpst can do that.

PPM finds libpst4 and its associated -dev library. From what I read elsewhere on the web, this package is supposed to include readpst, though it's a bit vague.

I've installed libpst4 and, for good measure, the -dev too. I've confirmed that all the files landed safely in /usr/lib (libpst.so.4, libpst.la, libpst.a, libpst.4.0.0, and libpst.so).

However, I can find no readpst binary anywhere.

Any idea where I can locate the readpst binary I need?

Maybe I'll have to download the source and compile it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/readpst

looks like the binaries come separately.

You also need imagemagik you will see there... its a bit of a beastie...not so much in size but in ram usage.... be prepared.
