I am using an old version of calibre which works well in fatdog64 as e-reader.
I extract it in /opt and then run the binary
calibre-2.85.1-x86_64.txz

I found an alternate way to open and view a fatdog package

An online site..
http://online.b1.org/online

Open the package with this site and it will first convert it to tar file.
Then open the tar file and the original files will be available.

I have been using the gimp and mtpaint packages compiled for fatdog64 720. No problems using them in 710

There is revised version of mhwaveedit available from fatdog 64 720 ibiblio repository.

It solves the missing label text problem.
