Create beautiful sheet music for free using MuseScore, the free and open source notation program!

MuseScore runs on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, and is available in over 40 different languages. Whether you are an experienced user of other notation programs like Finale or Sibelius, or a newcomer to the world of music notation programs, MuseScore has the tools you need to make your music look as good as it sounds. Check out the following links to take the tour and see what MuseScore can do for you!

I compiled this last year, but I thought I'd done something wrong because there was no sound... turns out all you have to do is check the ALSA sound output box in preferences. (Or JACK if you want).

Also very excited to discover Musecore's online community. All that free sheet music, all ready to be opened and rearranged or simply printed and played! :D

I'm fond of the Narnian theme from the recent movies so looking forward to rearranging those and giving them a go.

In Carolina there are no dependencies! Yay! I don't know if this will work in other Pups depending on the location of QT installation and version. QT can be very finicky.
