Subject description: add sfs+pet to Slacko6

FOR SLACKO6 ONLY

This is a first attempt at adding the LxQt desktop to Slacko6.
Quote:
LXQt is the Qt port and the upcoming version of LXDE, the Lightweight Desktop Environment. It is the product of the merge between the LXDE-Qt and the Razor-qt projects: A lightweight, modular, blazing-fast and user-friendly desktop environment.
Lots of things wrong as listed below in post #2.

To try:

1. obtain the latest Slacko6 iso
2. obtain the Qt4.8.2 sfs either from SFS Manager in the Setup menu or direct download from the Slacko14.1 repository - Qt4.8.2
3. obtain the LxQtPup sfs - from Sourceforge
4. obtain the LxQtPupSetup pet from Sourceforge

5. create a frugal install folder and extract the Slacko6 components from the iso into the folder
6. put the 2 sfs files into the folder
7. boot into Slacko6
8. use SFS-load-on-the-fly from the Setup menu to load both the Qt4.8.2 sfs and the LxQtPup sfs

9. REBOOT and create a savefolder/savefile - important - needed for Qt4.8.2 to work

10. install the LxQtPupSetup pet

PostPosted: Yesterday, at 13:55    Post subject: Known problems with LxQtPup

Reserved for a list of known problems

- its big - more than 3 times the size of LXDE - due to the need for QT
- trash, computer and network crash pcmanfm-qt (some sort of gvfs-gio-libfm interaction problem?)
- single-click option doesn't seem to be implemented
- right click option not implemented (open with)
- no "recently used" menu item
- icons missing from the menu (think it can't do svg icons)
- Leave menu item isn't customisable (or rather I haven't found how to)
- rather too many desktop configuration tools.....
- systray items have a black background
- lxqt-panel is rather basic cf lxpanel or lxpanelx (e.g. no autohide, no transparency)
- some LxPup options don't work - e.g. top panel, right clicks (wbar does work however)
