Need pyroom for FatDog64-630

Hi,

I don't have enough technical expertise to do this. While there are 32-bit pyroom pets, they won't work on FatDog64 which is 64-bit.

Could someone please make a package or SFS for pyroom to run on FatDog64-600?

Here is the source website: http://pyroom.org/

Sorry for asking, but I don't know where else to turn.

Alternatively, if someone could walk me to creating a package or SFS I could make it, then upload it to a repository so others may use it if they wish.

Thank you,
victor

Went to the website but screenshot links are dead so I don't know what it looks like.

Prefer pyroom, if at all possible.

Cheers,
Victor

Hi Victor;

Here is a pet for pyroom. It requires Python-2.7.5, + pygtk, + pyxdg. These were all built with Python-2.7.5, and are also in this directory.

Thank you very much WillM. Will report back as soon as I can get it to work.

I downloaded all three pets and installed.

Pyroom shows up on the Menu, but doesn't start. I tried launching form the commandline but it doesn't start either.

Hi puppypilgrim,
Sorry for the late reply. What error message is displayed when typing pyroom into the console?

It was GTK error. I futzed around a few more times but still could not get it to work.

Thank you for trying to help.

I have reverted to Linux Mint 13, 32-bit for now.

Why revert to Mint?

Hi, i just wondered why revert to a full complex distro, non portable like mint? Not that i don't like it but if you were diving at Puppy's world and didn't get to work PyRoom on FatDog64 you could try Puppy Precise 5.7.1, Puppy Slacko 5.6 / or newer made by 01micko. I'm sure they are perfectly compatible with PyRoom.
