3G USB Modem

#1 Post by mrandredparis »

I have a Alcatel Evolve 3G phone that allows me to connect via USB to my laptop and share the internet connection. When I used it under Linux Mint XFCE there was no problem keeping a persistent connection even during reboots and using the wireless option, but under Puppy 5.71 the connection drops each time I reboot and I need to reestablish the connection through SNS. Does anyone know how to make it persistent?

Seems to have resolved itself

The problem seems to have resolved itself, after creating a few profiles with SNS, I no longer have to create a new profile to connect to the internet
