Hi Folks:
This is a small thing, but I'm just curious if it can be done. Can you set the size of the open apps shown on the taskbar to only occupy a set width, as opposed to whatever space is available? Right now, if one program is open, the entire taskbar is occupied with that app. If I open two programs, they both occupy the entire taskbar, and so on. I would like to set a pixel width so that even one app would only take up one quarter (approximately) of the taskbar.
Basically, I want the taskbar to act as it does in Windows 2000 and before.

I have never had Windows 2000, but more importantly do you use jwm?
If yes, see the screen shot below:
the name of the file is highlighted in blue.
the line you need highlighted in grey
(mine is set to 25 pixels [icon width]
you need arithmetic or, trial and error).
My regards
