Adding the Repo's for Pipelite

Team, all,

I need help adding the repo's for pipelight, I'm trying to get to their packages so I can try them out. I'm on Precise 5.7.1.

Here's the repo.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pipelight/stable

Which I was told translates to:

ppa.launchpad.net|http://ppa.launchpad.net/pipelight/stab ... -pipelight

Now I put this line in the
root/.packages/DISTRO_COMPAT_REPOS and reloaded the PPM but the formating is all off. Attached is a copy of my DISTO doc and a snap of the PPM which is not formatting correctly.

If anyone could help me set this up, it would be much appreciated.

Code: Select all

#where to get pkg docs, format: domain|uri|localfilename...
PKG_DOCS_DISTRO_COMPAT="archive.ubuntu.com|http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-main archive.ubuntu.com|http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}/universe/binary-i386/Packages.bz2|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-universe archive.ubuntu.com|http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}/multiverse/binary-i386/Packages.bz2|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-multiverse "
#ubuntu repos...
#note, the local pkgs database file (or partname) is also appended to these entries, so know which url to download a particular pkg from (glob wildcard allowed)...
REPOS_DISTRO_COMPAT="ftp.filearena.net|http://ftp.filearena.net/pub/ubuntu|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-* mirror.anl.gov|http://mirror.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-* mirrors.kernel.org|http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-* archive.ubuntu.com|http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-* ppa.launchpad.net|http://ppa.launchpad.net/pipelight/stable/ubuntu/dists/${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2|Packages-${DISTRO_BINARY_COMPAT}-${DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION}-pipelight"

if you don't get an answer soon, you may want to ask again in beginners help or the users section. i'm not sure those with the know how check this particular part of the board for problems they can solve. (which, unfortunately, is all the help i can give. i, too, would like to see some of the ways to add repos not officially part of or represented in the PPM.)

It might be a little tedious, but for me it has been easier to just download the individual *.deb files over the web than to try to get the PPM to do it automagically.

There are inside these folders I think.
