LXDE-QT may well be the future even though it is C++ (because of the insanity of GTK3), so I'd encourage people to test and contribute to it, but be aware that at the moment it is pretty raw, especially pcmanfm-qt, which is probably the most important part. GTK2 pcmanfm, on the other hand, is getting pretty solid, and that took quite a long time.

Thank you for the interesting feedback.

LXQT by LXPUP on test. Qt-apps is a well known web site, are there others from where we can download apps which should run with Puppy ?

Please man, cut the hair ! It makes you look younger if you do. Plus it encourages people to look into Linux distributions because of your presentation and looks.
Everybody comments the speaker's hair
Look at the french one, Speaker est chauve (presque).

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

I've tried LXQT before and its basically just a copy of Razor-qt but with more software included.

It's not a copy of RazorQt - it's a merger of RazorQt with LXDE.

True, but they could have done more to make it look different.

Why?
How? By changing the ui, or just changing the appearance (isn't that just about your themes?)

I'm sure if you have specific ideas for improvements they'd love to hear them.
But I think the effort is really going into building the new QT apps which are required for a full QT DE - e.g. pcmanfm-qt.
