can not boot puppy from hard disk

hi , i've just installed puppy opera to my hd.
i've edited the grub list

but now when i try to boot it first seems to boot correct , all hardware is detected , the puppy200 file gets loaded into ram , usb drives detected but then i get the warning : unable to open initial console.
kernel panic - not syncing. try passing init=option to kernel.

what have i done wrong????
