FatDog64 - Mouse pointer problem after power saving mode

#1 Post by jp734 »

Every time I leave the computer and it goes to power saving mode, then come back, my mouse pointer doesn't display right. Instead of looking like an arrow, it looks like a mouse trail and other times it's just a block of color about half inch square. But here is the weird thing. It only happens on the main monitor.

I have a triple monitor setup using AMD GPUs.

card1 - DVI (main monitor), VGA (second monitor)
card2 - VGA (third monitor)

When I move the mouse to second and third monitor, the mouse becomes an arrow and when moved back to the main monitor, it's messed up.

Using FatDog64

I had a problem with VLC locking up my system before and @TedDog helped me out. You can see it on this thread, http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=93072
