It's light grey. How do I change it to white?

Hi, nic007.

Euh, you say it's solved. How? I, for one, would be interested to know! :)

Hi, musher0. In root there is a file called .gtkrc-2.0 When you open this it makes reference to a .gtkrc.mine file. So create your own .gtkrc.mine file and include the text for your background colour. Attached is mine for the colour white. Instead of giving the html-style hexadecimal value you can simply specify white, beige or whatever.
